Photos of memorable events don't deserve to be left in a disorganized heap. If you don't know what to do with them, MyPhotoCreations will give you a few ideas and it will help you implement them without too much effort. The software can be used to create photo books, calendars, greeting cards and much more. It comes with countless backgrounds, predefined layouts, themes, templates and other elements. Thanks to its smart functionality, all you have to do is import your pictures and insert them in your project, after which you can print it, share it or do anything you want with it.

MyPhotoCreations is available in paid and trial editions. The trial version doesn't have too many restrictions. Its core functions are unlocked so you can evaluate the software properly. The setup file is roughly 70 MB and it takes about a minute to install the program. It works on all modern Windows versions, including the recently released Windows 8.

Besides creating photo books, calendars and so on, MyPhotoCreations allows you to organize them as well. Different project types can be started in separate sections of the user interface. Once saved, the projects themselves appear as thumbnails and you can use different options to open, export or delete them, import or create new ones.

In most cases, when you start a new project, a wizard will guide you through a series of initial configurations. You may select a book or calendar layout, a theme and layout, import pictures and much more. Alternatively, you can skip the wizard's instructions and start with a blank project.

Regardless of how you start a project, you will be able to perform the same operations. Imported pictures appear as thumbnails in a row, in the lower region of the interface. You can insert them in your book or calendar just by dragging and dropping them over a page. When you drop a picture, a pop-up menu will display a few options for inserting the picture on the entire page, on two pages or in other ways.

Backgrounds, layouts, themes, clip arts and other elements can be selected on the left side of the interface. Just like the pictures, these elements can be applied on the entire project by clicking and dragging them to a page. The predefined layouts are particularly useful, because they will spare you from manually arranging your pictures on a page. When you insert a layout, the software will place one or more blank boxes on your page, with different size and rotation settings. After inserting a layout, you just need to drag and drop your pictures over these blank boxes.

The software places several output options at your disposal. You can export your project as multiple images or as a single PDF document. You can also proof and print your project or share it online.

Pros

MyPhotoCreations provides a huge number of predefined themes, layouts and other elements for your projects. It allows you to create photo books, calendars, greeting cards and more, by using a series of easy to understand tools. Projects can be printed, exported or shared online.

Cons

You can't export your projects while using the trial version. With MyPhotoCreations, you can show off your pictures in elegant books, albums, calendars or other print types.
